It is here! Today, in few minutes, the NCAA Mens Basketball tournament
is about to start! I know I am going to sound crazy to many of you-
but March Madness is BIG time serious business at our house. I follow
other sports. Watch highlights in passing on ESPN, but really could
care less about most sports. (that is unless it comes with a party and
yummy snacks,like the Super Bowl)
But the NCAA tournament is different, it is one month of basketball games. A month of hangin' with the guys talking smack about which team is better. Yes, I actually do my homework, scour ESPN and other sites for that little piece of advice that gives me some insight on why I should pick one team over the other in our basketball pool. Though sometimes it does come down to which color or mascot I like best. It is SO fun. It is so un-mom like. It is even better when MY team picks beats all them all.
The kids are finally old enough to get it and participate:) This year they will be appropriately dressed with UCLA t-shirts! Our banner will hang proudly outside our window. ( My alma mater) Dare I say that in Stanford country? Let the games begin.
