Yesterday, I took my 8 year old to the doctor to get a huge wart on his elbow lanced off. ( I know, pleasant huh?) He is so proud of it. The doctor froze it instead, applied some medicine and told us it should fall off in a week. The doctor leaves us with instructions to not wet it for one day, which means no bath or shower. (Again, I know, pleasant huh?) Leaving the office, he happily says, "I have gym class AND soccer practice and don't have to take shower. This is the best day ever!" Aaah the joys of being 8!

Oh great, that's what I have to look forward too :) My kids keep asking when we're going back to the house with the Wii.

I have to admire his optimism. It sure beats fainting!
