I heard you all loud and clear - accessories are key to any and all outfits. Whether it is a hand knitted scarf, a simple locket or something rockstar sparkly. We are all in agreement that the right accessory "makes" an outfit.
EYEWEAR: The right sunglasses are key. Who doesn't look for glasses and imagine themselves looking like Jackie O, glamorous and oozing of casual wealth? The ultimate accessory. I have been on the hunt for the right pair and I think I may have found them in these. Hello pretties!
JEWELRY: I totally admit to seeing my all-time favorite necklace in a boutique display and saying to myself, "You, perfect necklace, complete me." It was love at first sight. What makes it perfect? It goes with everything - from the track suit I wear in the carpool line to the sun dress I practically live in during the summer. I have built entire outfits around this necklace. Yes, I love it THAT much. BTW- the perfect piece of jewelry doesn't care if you gained 5 lbs last week eating a box or two of Girl Scouts Cookies.
SCARVES: Kim, one of my brilliant readers wrote "I'll buy scarves in a color I would never "wear" in a blouse or dress, but in a scarf, I feel like I can get away with anything!" I totally agree. I love how a scarf can dress up any outfit and bring a pop to my standard little black dress. I especially love that when worn over a black dress or white tee and jeans it brings the attention to your face or the area above your waist. Especially nice when you there are areas you don't want to emphasize, especially after eating the forementioned box of cookies. Wondering if you all have some ideas for summer/spring scarves?
SHOES: Living in California, there are two types of shoes in my closet -flip flops/sandals and the non-flip flops. I've got them in many colors, some plain and others adorned with rhinestones and such. I know so embarrassing. In the winter, Ugg Boots replace flip flops, but nothing compares. Flip flops work with almost every outfit - jeans, yoga pants, sundresses and skirts. Check these cute floral sandals by Born that I have my eye on for summer. I am major need of expanding my repertoire - any ideas of stylish yet comfortable shoes that are just as versatile?
Accessories make the world go round. They make it easier to update basic pieces (jeans or LBD) with something trendy without breaking the bank. Or a classic pashmina in an unexpected color might keep you toasty and help you look smokin'!
What is YOUR favorite accessory? How do these help pull your day time or night time look together? I'm looking for your ideas to share in our upcoming video, so please send me some of your brilliance.

I have 'em all! I agree with the scarf thing! I love them, and put them with a t-shirt and jeans to dress it up for work! I live in Montana...so shoes and coats of many colors and types are a must....and scarves help change those looks too...I wear so many scarves...that friends are starting to buy them for me for birthdays and stuff...so scarves have to be my fave to dress up or down...and so easy...

My favorite accessory is definitely my sunglasses. Living in Texas, you need them almost every day. Some people have many pairs of shoes..I'll admit it, I have several pairs of sunglasses (in many colors)
Thanks for the tips!

During the winter, I really loved cute eternity scarves. Now that it is getting warm out, I am looking for some fun sun glasses for my spring wardrobe! :)

remember that Julia Roberts line in Steel Magnolias....."pink is my signature color". I have a signature necklace that my mom gave me forever ago and I adore it. I wear it ALL the time and throw other chains on top to mix it all up...along with this seasons chunky bracelet (thanks macys) and good to go.

I don't really have one favorite accessory, but I love big, bold, vintage looking costume jewelry. I love adding a few pieces to whatever outfit I'm wearing but most days I'm just too busy to remember. I would be so happy to win the Macy's gift card giveaway. They always really cool jewelry at great prices.

I wear the exact same jewelry every. single. day. The only time I change it is for a special occasion. The weird thing is, my daily stuff is real and when I change it for a special occasion, that's when I pull out the costume/fun stuff. Kind of backwards?

Key for me when dressing up for an evening event is eye makeup. Never been a blush or lipstick girl. A little MAC or L’Oreal eyeshadow in a color that “pops” with some nude lip gloss and mascara makes me feel great. Of course, it helps putting on the long gorgeous gown..but eye makeup is something I couldn’t go without. Fun program! You are so lucky to go to Ree’s Ranch. I’ll be watching the series closely.

I favor a simple silver necklace. It can be formal or informal depending on what else you are in. Add simple earrings and a nice watch or bracelet and your done.

I wear a lot of blazer type jackets. I love to wear broaches on them. They also look good with scarves.

A lot of specialists say that credit loans help a lot of people to live their own way, just because they are able to feel free to buy needed things. Furthermore, different banks give short term loan for all people.
